18 Bronzemen is a indie-animation project we are developing. This is a wuxia-cyberpunk animated series set in 536 AD China — a fractured world of crumbling kingdoms and warring factions, where supernatural creatures called Asuras, forged from and sustained by human emotion, move unseen among the population, hijacking feelings and turning small conflicts into catastrophes.

The only line of defence: the Bronzemen — a legendary sect of half-human, half-robot kung-fu masters, augmented with bronze tech and trained in total emotional detachment. Into this world walks a 17-year-old street kid who feels everything, understands nothing about what he is, and may be the only being capable of ending the war. Not because he is the strongest, but because of his humanity.
